The logo and typography system was inspired by restaurant signage and letterforms from Japan and regions of the Mediterranean, matching the influences of the original concept of the restaurant.
Brushstrokes of Japanese characters on cloth banners and sharp serifs on street signage through the Mediterranean.
The menu's form was designed and typeset with intention to open to separate sections, such as the restaurant impressive Gin selection, guiding the guest through the experience.
