The theme for the 2023 gala was ‘transit’; the visual identity played off Massimo Vignelli’s iconic MTA signage and map, while also remaining close to Riders Alliance year-round branding. Created was the visual identity, signage, digital, and print applications

The visuals of subway lines were expanded from the logo to graphic elements, custom numerals, and as printed materials sent out for invitations and as in-person signage and window decals.
Signage inside the invent took a more literal approach to the current MTA signage, while referencing cheeky copywriting.
